The Kel-Tec PLR-16 tactical style Semi Automatic Pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington is an excellent choice for recreational shooting and long range pistol hunting applications. It features a long stroke gas operated piston system with a Johnson/Stoner breach locking system and it's ready to accept any standard AR 15 magazine. Originally designed as a long range target pistol, the PLR-16 is also a fantastic hunting pistol! It has a 9.2" barrel with a 1:9 Twist and a suppressor ready 1/2"x28 TPI threaded muzzle. The high impact glass fiber reinforced polymer construction is lightweight, incredibly durable and features an integral MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rail. A windage adjustable rear sight and AR style elevation adjustable front sight will get you on target at the range right away. This tactical pistol is ready to be accessorized with a host of enhancements and available add-ons.
